It’s almost that time of year again! The biggest sale of the year, The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale official starts on July 12th (for cardholders that is). Get your online carts ready and start curating that wish list because this year’s sale is a good one. This is one of my favorite sales to shop. It falls at the perfect time of year where I’m just starting to think about fall fashion and some of the deals are just too good to pass up.
Sale Dates Breakdown
Nordstrom opens up the sale periodically over the course of the month of July based on your status with them. You can shop the sale earlier by getting a nordstrom card online or in stores. Here is a look at when you might be able to shop.
What’s the hype about?
Unlike other sales all the pieces are new for the upcoming season. Typically retailers will have a sale marking down products they are trying to get rid of before the season ends, hence why we see so many end of summer sales. The stuff discounted is typically already old news or just not selling well. Nordstrom puts out thousands of new products on sale, all the latest trends that everyone will be rocking this fall and winter.
How to Prepare
The sale can be overwhelming, there is just so much product to look through (we’re talking thousands of new products on mega sale). What I like to do is make a list of what is lacking in my wardrobe or what I’ve worn to death the past few seasons and create a master list of stuff I want to get. This helps you narrow down and be less scatterbrained about the whole sale.
