Hi I’m Jessica!
Thanks for being here. I’m a 20-something year old Chicago based lifestyle blogger. I was born and raised in a town just shy of an hour outside of the Windy City and have stayed local and in the Midwest.
I went off to college at Elmhurst University where I got my Bachelors in Communications and began working full time in marketing shortly there after.
How it all started
Although I didn’t get a degree in fashion, it has always been a passion of mine ever since I was a little girl. It began with stealing my mom’s heels and quickly turned into at home runway shows in the small hallway that ran between our kitchen and living room.
This blog stems from that childhood love for fashion and lifestyle that I never seemed to outgrow. For years I had gone back and forth on starting a blog, searching for a creative outlet to share and connect with other fellow fashion and lifestyle lovers. I finally decided to take the leap of faith and jump in head first.
What to Expect
As I developed my own personal style over the years I found myself gravitating towards neutrals and curating pieces that were timeless and classy yet anything but boring and basic.
The phrase Living in Neutrals felt fitting as neutrals can be found in all aspects of my life from my wardrobe to home decor to everything in between. So that’s exactly what you can expect to see from me, neutrals with an extra flair.
In this little digital space of mine I cover everything from outfit details down to where I’m travelling to, sales to shop and more.
